An independent publishing platform

The independent press for columnists and essayists.

VeriTaus gives independent writers a column of their own: signed stories, dated archives and pages typeset like a journal of record. You write; the platform takes care of the layout, the archive and the reading.

What the platform offers

Everything a column needs, and nothing it does not.

See all features

Signed work

A column under your own name

Every story carries its writer’s byline and links back to a column page with a portrait, a short biography and, if you like, your own website.

Sections & archive

An archive that stays in order

Divide your column into sections of its own. Stories are dated, filed and paginated, so older work is as easy to find as the latest piece.

Typesetting

Pages set for long reading

Serif headlines, a comfortable measure and careful typographic detail on every screen size, with full support for Vietnamese diacritics.

Readers

Responses read before they run

Readers can reply without an account, and every comment is reviewed before it appears. Each column also publishes its own RSS feed.

By invitation

Built for writers who publish on the record.

VeriTaus has no open sign-up. Columnists are invited, and every story they publish is signed and dated, so readers always know who wrote what, and when.

  1. Receive an invitation

Columnists join by invitation; your account is prepared for you.

  2. Set up your column

Add a portrait, a short biography, a link to your website and the sections you write in.

  3. Publish on the record

Each story goes out signed, dated and filed in your column, ready for readers and feeds.

Write it. Sign it. Publish it.

VeriTaus accounts are by invitation. Already invited? Sign in to your column.
